What moves through us.
Depth psychology meets poetry and magic; in surprising appearances, which I call blessings.

How we might do stuff together.
I like lots of things. I am a master of none.

Psychotherapy (ISTDP)
I am interested in the transformation that can take place during times of difficulty, challenge, and uncertainty. My experience has been that people can emerge from chaos with new perspectives, an enriched sense of wellbeing, and a clearer understanding of their guiding values. My goal is to help you navigate that process with compassion, depth, and courage, no matter what the precipitating factor. I predominantly use an experiential emotion-focused approach called Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), meaning that we focus on underlying feelings, motivations, and life experiences that sit at the heart of people’s suffering and symptoms. My approach to therapy is philosophical, honest, and courageous. You will be a true collaborator, and in the driving seat a large portion of the time. Research Consultancy
I provide independent research services as a consultant, specialising in qualitative methods. I can assist with study conceptualisation & design, data collection & analysis, report writing and knowledge translation. Areas of expertise include piloting and exploring experiences of novel or under-researched mental health interventions, clinical innovation, mental health workforce development & training, medical education, and the elucidation of qualitative phenomena as a means to promote greater cross-fertilisation between practice-based wisdom and scientific knowledge.
My experience over 20 years includes coordination of multi-site RCT implementation trials focused on community health and training, and work with NGOs, juvenile justice, the prison system, research centres of excellence, hospitals, medical training authorities, universities, schools, performing arts collectives, and grassroots initiatives focused on health.
